Assisting patrons logging in to pay for their Community Member Cards

Community User Cards applications are now fully online.

All payments are done online as well, but if a patron is having issues paying the annual fee online follow these steps to assist them:

  • Take them to the quick lookup station or direct them to the Public Computers
    • As community cardholders, they should be automatically added to the PCRES user database. 
    • Do not assist customer at a Staff/Ask US desk computer due to PCI compliance requirements
  • On the Library Home page click on My Accounts in the upper right corner 
  • Choose Library Account on the next page
  • Choose the Non-UA Credentials option and have them log in
    • User ID
      • Barcode on their purple card (They should already have this in a confirmation email)
    • Password:
      • New Cards - Temp2022 is the temporary password 
        • ​​​​​​​The patron may have a new password set up already. Many users feel the need to change their password before paying.
      • Renewals - Will be their old password (if they cannot remember have them click "reset password")

Once the payment has been completed and the patron has provided the verification noted in the block on their account, disable the block on their account and hand them their new card. (New cards are kept at the Main Library 2nd floor desk)
