Question and Answer

Does the library have family or lactation rooms?

Yes! In an effort to make the library welcoming to all, we have family rooms at both the Main and Albert B. Weaver Science-Engineering Libraries. These rooms are available to parents and caretakers for nursing, pumping, and other childcare activities. To access one of these rooms, please see someone at an Ask Us desk.

Changing tables are located in both the men's and women's second floor restrooms at both the Main and Albert B. Weaver Science-Engineering Libraries.

The University of Arizona Health Sciences campus has seven lactation spaces. The space closest to the Health Sciences Library is in the Arizona Health Sciences Center (Building 201, Room 1118B) around the corner from the Medical Bookstore. To access the room, visit the College of Medicine Student Affairs Office. Alternately, call (520)626-6216 or (520)621-0208.
