Question and Answer

Does Boolean searching work in library search?

Yes, the Boolean operations OR, NOT and AND work in library search. The operators must be written in ALL CAPS.

By default, all terms in library search are combined with the AND operator. Using the OR operator (e.g. microcircuits OR nanocircuits) will return items that contain either term. To exclude items in library search, use the NOT operator (e.g. animal NOT dog).
